Archbishop Elpidophoros of America Visits St. Nektarios the Wonderworker in Roscoe, NY

Today, November 9, 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America visited the Holy Monastery of St. Nektarios the Wonderworker in Roscoe, NY to celebrate its patronal feastday. The Archbishop was received with great joy by the Abbot, Very Reverend Archimandrite Joseph and the entire brotherhood of 24 monastics.

The Archbishop presided over all the divine services where faithful of all ages, from near and as far as Canada, were in attendance to honor this great saint of the 20th century. As an expression of paternal love and gratitude, His Eminence gifted a personal icon of his of St. Iakovos of Evia to the Abbot and the brotherhood and asked that they continue their diakonia of prayer for their Archbishop and all the clergy and laity of our Sacred Archdiocese.
