    On Saturday, April 17, the Maliotis Cultural Center at Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology presented the virtual conference “1821-2021: The Orthodox Church and the Greek Revolution” in observance of the bicentennial of the beginning of Greece’s War of Independence.     Major Exhibition Opens March 30 at Maliotis Center

    A keenly anticipated exhibition commemorating the 200th anniversary of the start of the Greek War of Independence, The Greek Revolution through American Eyes, will open on March 30 with a celebratory event at the Maliotis Cultural Center of Hellenic College Holy Cross.     Savas Seminarian Assistance Fund Established at HCHC

    On October 29, 2020, Mr. Irakli Savas delivered to HCHC, through President George M. Cantonis, the sum of $300,000 for the establishment of an irrevocable fund to be known as the Savas Seminarian Assistance Fund. The purpose of the fund is to help seminarians in need with housing expenses and other costs that are not covered by scholarships. Read More

    BROOKLINE, Mass. – Recently I had the privilege of having dinner with Nick, an Orthodox Christian in his early twenties. Nick lives in a large city and works two full-time jobs – at a law office and a restaurant – to pay his rent. Early in the conversation, he noted how hard he’s trying pay off his tens of thousands of dollars in student loans.
