Archimandrite Chrysostom Onyekakeyah, Project Coordinator for Mission and Outreach Development for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America published a new post on the Faith Matters blog page, entitled “Healing the Breach of America Societal Crisis: Why Racial Reconciliation Matters to Orthodox Christianity in America.” Archimandrite Chrysostom contemplates critical moments in American society today, looking to the faith of the Church and the history of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America as he points to the necessity of repentance and reconciliation particularly with regard to racial injustice. In calling for national repentance and reconciliation, Archimandrite Chrysostom envisions a path forward in making our nation a more perfect union.
