Women's History Month Highlight: Katherine Clark, Marketing & Communications of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society

March is International Women’s History Month, and it would only be proper to celebrate it by honoring the women of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. We want to showcase the wonderful women who work for our beloved Archdiocese and its Affiliated Institutions this March to celebrate their contributions and the talents they bring to our Church. This first week we present the resilient women of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society.

Katherine was also honored with an Archdiocesan Servant Leadership Award in June 2023.

What is the role of faith in my life?

My lifelong membership at Holy Resurrection and upbringing in the Greek Orthodox Church deeply influences me. I believe faith and God are fundamental, guiding all actions toward God's supremacy. At Philoptochos, our efforts are rooted in faith and Christ's teachings. At Holy Resurrection, Father Panteleimon Papadopoulos urges us to honor God in all actions, prioritizing His grace above all else. I try my best to integrate this into my daily life, such as serving as a camp counselor, where I strive to embody Christian virtues and be a role model for the children. Ultimately, faith in Christ unveils our true identity, resolves struggles, and reveals His transformative love.
