Today, April 16, 2024, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America received the Rev. Deacon John Kokenis, Lieutenant of the United States Navy, at the Archdiocese headquarters. The recently ordained Deacon John, a clergyman of the Holy Metropolis of Chicago and a candidate for Navy Chaplaincy, is visiting New York for the elevation of his cousin, Bishop-elect Anthony of the Synades. Also present in the meeting was the Rev. Archdeacon Dionysios.
