New York, NY - Archbishop Demetrios of America with great joy announced today that Metropolitan Maximos of Pittsburgh has returned home from the hospital and rehabilitation facility where he had been successfully recuperating as a result of a fall on September 2, 2005.

Archbishop Demetrios, giving thanks to God for his healing grace and infinite mercy, said that Metropolitan Maximos' road to full recovery includes continued rest and therapy. The Archbishop also expressed his gratitude for the prayers, love and good wishes of the faithful and the communities across the country for the health of Metropolitan Maximos.
