Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta Invites Metropolis Chanters and Iconographers to Apply for the The Liturgical Arts Academy 2024 Session

March 20, 2024

To the Clergy of the Metropolis of Atlanta:

My Dear Brothers in Christ,

I greet you with love and joy in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I pray that this message finds you well as we continue through the first week of Great Lent.

Once more, I am pleased to announce that The Liturgical Arts Academy is now accepting applications for the 2024 session, August 18-24 for chanters and iconographers. This most beneficial training program offers a 1-week intensive, high quality curriculum. Held at the Diakonia Retreat Center, the chant program especially resounds at the Panagia Chapel, and I encourage you to send and support your chanters. In its sixth year, TLAA has earned national respect and has brought hundreds of faithful to our Retreat Center.

"Who's Chanting?" is TLAA's fundraising campaign and I invite each parish to make a donation to support The Liturgical Arts Academy, which recently came under the 501c3 non-profit status of the Orthodox Christian Academy of Atlanta. Your donation at this time will help them fulfil the "Matching Grant" requirements from their sponsor The Renaissance Fund. To learn more go to: DONATE TO "WHO'S CHANTING"
