This scholarship fund has been established in honor of Xenia Anton Desby, gifted organist and church musician and her husband, renowned Byzantine music scholar and composer Frank Desby, for their inspiration and contribution to the music ministry of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco. The purpose of this scholarship fund is to assist and encourage the musical development and training of Greek Orthodox musicians to equip the recipients to serve or continue to serve the music ministry of the Greek Orthodox Church.
