New York - His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios, spiritual leader of over 1.5 million Greek Orthodox Christians in America and Chairman of SCOBA, the Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in America, representing 6 million Orthodox Christians in North America, will travel to Louisiana tomorrow, September 9, 2005 to convey the love and concern of the Orthodox Christian community of America to the people impacted by Hurricane Katrina as well as the relief workers, especially of IOCC (International Orthodox Christian Charities), the official humanitarian aid agency of SCOBA.
