On Saturday, September 9th, 2023, Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Macon, Georgia hosted their 2nd Annual Pan-Orthodox Cross Dive in honor of the Feast of the Elevation of the Holy Cross and in celebration of their parish's Name Day.  Fr. Theodore Ehmer and the Holy Cross community welcomed Metropolitan ALEXIOS of Atlanta, Fr. Christos Mars who serves as chairman of the Atlanta Inter- Orthodox Parish Association (AIOPA), and several other Atlanta-area clergy and faithful for the beautiful and celebratory event. Axios and Many Years to 10th grade student Matthew Simitses, of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Atlanta, for retrieving the cross!
