NEW YORK – The National Council of Churches released a statement, dated Oct. 3, 2018, regarding the Kavanaugh nomination to the Supreme Court of the United States.

The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America has not been consulted, as it should have been, about this release, especially as it pertains to matters that have serious political implications, and therefore, cannot share any responsibility for the published statement.
