Archbishop Demetrios tossing the Cross into Spring Bayou

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – Seventeen year old Louis Pappas retrieved the cross from Spring Bayou during Tarpon Springs' 105th Epiphany celebration, in the city that became known as Epiphany  City. Archbishop Demetrios of America officiated at the Great Agiasmos (blessing of the waters) service at St. Nicholas Cathedral and led the procession to the bayou and the service of the Dive for the Holy Cross with thousands of people in attendance.
