On Saturday, December 16, 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America attended the Greek Orthodox Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity's 47th Annual Christmas Concert "The Sounds of Christmas". The Concert featured the Archdiocesan Cathedral Choir and Youth Choir accompanied by the Archdiocesan Cathedral Orchestra and under the direction of Maestro Costas Tsourakis, with Associate Director Hilary Baboukis and Accompanist Dawn Helene. The evening featured famous hymns and carols of the season as well as the annual sing-along of Christmas classics. His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, former of America, Dean of the Cathedral V. Rev. Archimandrite Chrysostomos Gilbert, Consul General of Greece in New York Konstantinos Konstantinou, and other community leaders were also in attendance. For those who were unable to attend in person, a virtual concert version will premiere on December 23rd and will be available through December 26th.
