Annual Archdiocese Christmas Open House

Faithful joined His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America for the Annual Christmas Open House on December 19, 2023. More than 300 visitors shared warm personal conversations with His Eminence and enjoyed the festive Christmas spirit that filled the Archdiocese. "I am delighted that so many of you have come to join your brothers and sisters who labor in this beloved institution and to share in the festive season that communicates God’s love for all people," remarked Archbishop Elpidophoros. The Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Choir and Youth Choir sang Christmas carols, encouraging the faithful to join in with the familiar melodies. Special guests included the Consul General of Greece in New York Konstantinos Konstantinou, the Consul General of Panama in Philadelphia Georgia Athanasopulos, Vice President of the Archdiocesan Council John Catsimatidis and Chairman of the Friends of St. Nicholas Michael Psaros. The Annual Open House is a tradition that faithful have come to enjoy and appreciate during the Christmas season.
