Keeping our Children Safe

Did you know that all Clergy and Youth Workers (Volunteers and paid Staff) in the Archdiocese must complete a mandatory background check and online youth safety training?

Is your parish following these Policies? 

All Clergy who serve a parish and all lay people who have a position/role working with Children or Youth are required to complete a simple three step process: 
register – screen – train. 

• First, register as a Youth Worker with your parish. See your Parish Priest or Parish Youth Safety Administrator to do so.
• Second, complete the online criminal background screening. (10 minutes, every 2 years)
• Third, complete the required online Youth Safety training. (1-2 hours each year)
