With Help From Philoptochos, Florida Food Bank Expected to Distribute Over 2600 Meals in 2022

When Philoptochos sees hunger, we aspire to offer sustenance. Through the approval of a Project Review Grant, Philoptochos is able to fight food insecurity for a community in need.

The Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida has distributed a total of 20,905 nutritionally-balanced food kits as part of their Care and Share Senior Feeding Program. They are projected to hit 26,400 meals by the end of this year. The Philoptochos grant of $22,720, awarded in December of 2021, helped make this possible!
