It is not uncommon for even the most faithful Christian to feel as though his attendance and participation in the Liturgy is sometimes less than a positive experience.  If we were to carefully consider those occasions we would, I think, discover, that we were not edified because we allowed ourselves to be diverted from the prayers and hymns of the Liturgy itself, and to focus instead on the people who sit in the pews around us.
