MEET THE NEWEST DRE TEAM MEMBER: HANNAH WILLIAMS, MTS

The Department of Religious Education (DRE) of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is overjoyed to announce its newest team member, Mrs. Hannah Williams, MTS. Since the beginning of the New Year, Hannah has taken on the newly created full-time role of Operations Coordinator for the DRE and Executive Assistant to Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos for the Archdiocese.

Last year, Hannah served the Archdiocese as the Program Coordinator and Special Assistant to the Director of the Inter-Orthodox, Ecumenical, and Interfaith Relations Department. Prior to this, she also served as Youth Coordinator at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Pensacola, Florida.

Hannah earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Religious Studies from Hellenic College Holy Cross in 2020. She went on to obtain a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Boston College School of Theology and Ministry in 2022. Her theological education is specialized in church history, patristic theology, and comparative theology.

The newly established position of Operations Coordinator and Executive Assistant results from the ongoing Internal DRE 360° Review, which external experts conducted pro bono for the Department.

Join the DRE in welcoming its newest team member, Hannah!
