The Direct Archdiocesan District Office of Education developed a student lesson to be taught to the upper grade students on the occasion of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s visit to the United States in October 2009. The student lesson is a revised and updated version of material created for a previous visit of the Ecumenical Patriarch to the U.S. In Greek, it consists of text, English translation of certain Greek words, and comprehension exercises. It may be used either for classroom instruction or home study.
