Joining the Archdiocese in 1999, Dr. Koularmanis assumed the pivotal role of Principal at St. Demetrios School in Astoria, NY. Under his visionary leadership, the school experienced unprecedented growth and acclaim, culminating in its recognition as the 7th best Christian school in New York City by the esteemed website Niche in 2019.
