The other day, as I was taking my customary early morning walk. I began to think about all the things in our daily routine of life that tend to make us angry.  They can vary from the discourteous driver, and misbehaving child, to the forgetful and distracted spouse.  We need to remember however that each time we allow these minor irritations to cause our blood to boil, we are harming our health and wellbeing.

Recently published scientific studies have shown that individuals who allow themselves to harbor hostitlity and anger to others are 5 times more likely to die prematurely from the ravages of heart disease.  Science has come to validate the admonishes by the 37th Psalms "don't give in to worry or anger, for it only leads to worry and trouble."
