With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos presided over Contrition Vespers on Sunday evening, April 7, 2024. The service was held at the Saint Demetrios Church in Merrick, NY.  The Rev. Protopresbyter Elias Villis, Chancellor of the Archdiocese District and the Rev. Protopresbyter Nikiforos Fakinos, Proistamenos of the Saint Demetrios Church together with surrounding clergy were in attendance for a poignant and spiritually enriching service.  The host Parish enhanced the collective experience and deepened the impact of this meaningful gathering, contributing to the atmosphere of unity and devotion that defines the Archdiocese District community.
