On Sunday, April 21, 2024, the Catechism School of the Ascension Greek Orthodox Church in Fairview, New Jersey held their 2024 Pascha Retreat. This year’s theme was Holy Communion. The children watched the video "How is Communion Prepared?" Father Christos explained key details and the children listened carefully. The children took home a puzzle they put together during the retreat. The customized picture on the puzzle was taken by Father Christos of the Table of Preparation where Holy Communion is prepared in the Holy Altar. The Ascension Catechism School invites families to come to Church for the Saturday of Lazarus for the preparation of palms and on Palm Sunday.
