All Saints Greek Orthodox Church Celebrates Centennial

WEIRTON, W. Va. – His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America arrived today in Weirton, West Virginia to participate in the Centennial celebration of the Greek Orthodox Church of All Saints.

He was welcomed at the Pittsburgh airport by Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh, Archon Michael G. Psaros, treasurer of the Archdiocesan Council; Rev. Fr. Fotios Milanese, Parish Council President Archon Nick Latousakis, Vice President Nick Tranto and other members of the community.

Later, upon arrival to the All Saints Church, Archbishop Demetrios officiated at the Archieratical Great vespers in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the community.

Archon Michael G. Psaros was the keynote speaker at the Centennial Gala, hosted by the community in the evening.

Archbishop Demetrios will preside at the Archieratical Divine Liturgy tomorrow with Metropolitan Savas of Pitsburgh and many clergymen concelebrating.
