Professor Turid Karlsen Seim Karl Donfried on Race and Gender in St. Paul at the Pauline Symposium on October 9-17, 2008.

Professor Turid spoke about how to Apostle Paul, the one most important descendant of Abraham is Christ. She then continued to talk about how, according to Apostle Paul, in Christ there is no “… Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female…” (Galatians 3:28). This was a very different idea in the exclusive world that the early Christians found themselves in.
