Rising Against Hunger in Columbus

Nearly 100 volunteers packaged 12,996 meals in under two hours as Annunciation Columbus participated in 'Rise Against Hunger' on April 3 following Pre-Sanctified Liturgy. Volunteers came from every ministry and organization and represented all age groups. By the end of April, the parish will know exactly where meals have been distributed in an effort to end global hunger and food insecurity by 2030. Each meal costs $.34, feeds six people and contains a soy protein, a pack of 23 vitamins and nutrients, dried vegetables and rice. Your parish can participate in 'Rise Against Hunger' too.
