Students Across Archdiocesan District Celebrate Feast of 3 Hierarchs Together

The A. Fantis School of Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral (Brooklyn, NY) hosted a beautiful celebration of Greek Letters this morning, January 30, 2023, for the Feast of the Three Holy and Great Hierarchs. Following the Divine Liturgy, all of the students, staff and visitors were treated to a delicious brunch prepared by Mrs. Michelle Tampakis.

An educational talk exploring the faith and knowledge of Saints Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom, was presented by the Cathedral's Pastoral Assistant, Mr. John Strzelecki.

Students from the schools at Saint Demetrios Cathedral (Astoria, NY) and the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (Manhattan, NY) were also invited to attend, accompanied by their respective clergy, including St. Demetrios Proistamenos Rev. Protopresbyter Anargiros Stavropoulos. Dean of Sts. Constantine and Helen Rev. Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Evagoras Constantinides chaired the event.

Archdiocesan District Chancellor Rev. Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Elias Villis represented His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America at the celebration, while Assistant Director of Greek Education, Rev. Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Gregory Stamkopoulos respresented the Department.
