Ἐκ ῥίζης ἐβλάστησας, περιφανοῦς καὶ κλεινῆς, ἐκ πόλεως ἤνθησας, βασιλικῆς καὶ λαμπράς, Ἀλέξιε πάνσοφε, πάντων δ' ὑπερφρονήσας, ὡς φθαρτῶν καὶ ῥεόντων, ἔσπευσας συναφθῆναι, τῶ Χριστῷ καὶ Δεσπότη, Αὐτὸν οὖν ἐκδυσώπει ἀεί, ὑπὲρ τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν.
