Archdiocese Announces COVID-19 Relief Program

One-time grants of up to $2,500 will be made available to those who are facing extreme financial hardship as a result of COVID-19.

Archbishop Athenagoras, born in 1886, was the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in America from 1931 - 1948. After his election to the Ecumenical throne in 1948, he became the 268th Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople until his repose in 1972.
