Members of the Ionian Village Summer Staff are responsible for carrying out the mission of Ionian Village: To enrich the lives of its participants with a living, vibrant experience of Greek Orthodox Christianity and a rich, textured immersion into their Greek heritage, culture and language. Our Staff is one of the most crucial elements of the success of the program. If you think you have what it takes and you want to have the best summer of your life, apply to be a part of something special!

It's essential to recognize that working as a Staff Member at Ionian Village is not a vacation. It entails a dedicated commitment, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, during the camp sessions. While it demands much, it is also an immensely rewarding experience.

As a staff member, Ionian Village covers your round-trip airfare between JFK and ATH at the start and end of your summer commitment. Any deviations from this itinerary must be approved in advance by the Director. Your acceptance as a staff member includes all meals and accommodation during the camp sessions. Travel to New York, any personal shopping, and your travel, lodging, and meals during the three-day break between sessions is at your own expense.

Applicants must be Greek Orthodox and at least 21 years old by June 17, 2024. Staff commitment is June 17 - August 16, 2024.
