His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the historic Annunciation Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens, Greece. The service opens the 4th Archon International Conference on Religious Freedom that is being held this year in Athens. The Conference, entitled, “Protecting Religious Freedom, Democracy & Human Rights” features meetings, seminars and the 1st Summit of Global Archons and runs through Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Following the Divine Liturgy, a 50-year anniversary Memorial Service commemorating the victims of the tragic invasion of Cyprus and all other martyrs who have lost their lives because of religious persecution.
