Direct Archdiocesan District Hosts Parathosi Greek Dance Festival 2024

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, the Archdiocesan District hosted its Parathosi Greek Dance Festival. This was the first time the event was held since the pandemic and the community response was astounding! With 18 groups performing and over 250 participants, Parathosi 2024 had the largest number of dancers in its history. The entire day was filled with incredible energy and an overwhelming sense of community. In the evening, the Awards Glendi was held where the participants were given trophies for their performances while enjoying a beautiful night of Greek dancing all together. The Archdiocesan District Youth Office along with the Parathosi board thanks all the participants and spectators that came to support this beautiful ministry. They would also like to thank Nick Gregory for his time as Master of Ceremonies during the competition and DJ Johnny the Greek who made the Awards Glendi truly a night to remember for all! Next year’s Parathosi will be announced within the coming months.
