Camp Saint Paul Welcomes Y2AM Director Eva Konstantakos

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, the National Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries (Y2AM) for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, Mrs. Eva Konstantakos, visited Camp Saint Paul Archdiocesan District Summer Camp July 12-14, 2023.  The theme for Camp Saint Paul this summer is “Do not be Afraid” - “Μη φοβάσαι!” taken from the Gospel according to Saint Luke 12:32.  The verse itself actually appears 365 times throughout the Holy Scriptures.  Camp Saint Paul and all camping ministries help our youth and young adult staff hit the “reset” button with our faith in every day life and of course to learn more and more about the amazing unconditional love of God.

Eva spoke a few times to our campers and staff with regards to our faith and struggles.  She also gave a short testimony about her experience at Holy Cross School of Theology receiving a Masters Degree in Theological Studies saying that it was an incredible time in her life.

“What an incredible experience I had at Camp Saint Paul these last few days!" Konstantakos said afterward. "It was clear, in my short time at camp, that campers were not simply learning about God…but they were experiencing and encountering God through this camping ministry’s program. Camp Saint Paul, like all camps throughout the Archdiocese, is cultivating a community that is not afraid to witness their faith in Christ! May God continue to bless the camp leadership, staff, campers, and all those who make Camp Saint Paul a special place.”
