Archbishop Elpidophoros Venerates Monastic Cell of St. Porphyrios

On the evening Saturday, July 15, 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America had the opportunity to venerate the monastic cell of St. Porphyrios at the Holy Convent  dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord in Milesi, Attica Greece. 

Commenting about his experience the Archbishop noted “It is difficult to express in words how great a blessing it is for me to venerate the humble dwelling of St. Porphyrios. I strongly believe that he is a Saint for ‘this age’ - the Saint of love and compassion- the Saint in whom many of our young people find spiritual solace."
