New York –- His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America will lead a delegation of representatives from several Greek American organizations to Washington, DC on Monday, November 15, 2004 to meet with Secretary of State Colin Powell, and discuss the issue of the United States’ recognition of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M.). The meeting will take place at 11:00 am at the State Department.

In addition to Secretary of State Powell, Archbishop Demetrios is expected to meet with other high-ranking government officials for further discussions on this issue.
