Focus of the 8th online seminar: "It is a virtual journey for anyone who wants to better understand life in Greece."

In the final seminar, we will travel together and get to know Greece better. We will discuss significant topics of history, ancient and modern culture, economic and social life in Greece, as well as personalities that played a significant role in shaping its identity. We will present events and milestones of Greek history from antiquity to modern times. Additionally, we will highlight how the Greeks, through the revolution against the Ottomans, formed the first independent state in the Eastern Mediterranean and overcame challenges such as the Asia Minor catastrophe, internal divisions, and civil wars, establishing today's Hellenic Republic.

Knowledge of these topics can help Greeks in the Diaspora and students of the Greek language better understand Greece and its current character. Special emphasis will be given to cultural life as well as everyday life in Greece.

As the Education Office continues to promote an environment of continuous learning and professional development, this seminar is a testament to their dedication to the ongoing enrichment of Greek language educators.
