Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew met today, Tuesday, August 13, at the Phanar, with Archbishop Leo of Helsinki and all Finland, who is the head of the Orthodox Autonomous Church of Finland, and the Lutheran Archbishop of Finland Tapio Luoma. They are both on a pilgrimage to the Ecumenical Patriarchate and Constantinople.

The meeting with His All-Holiness was also attended by associates of the two Archbishops, and the discussion included issues related to inter-Christian dialogue and cooperation in Finland, and the course of relations between Orthodox and Lutherans in general.
