Metropolis Young Adults to Project Mexico – July 30 to August 5

Again this Summer, the Metropolis Y2AM is gathering Young Adults (High School Grads & up) to head to Baja California, Mexico to build a safe, permanent home for a family in need. The building project will provide a sturdy structure, protection from the elements, and a firm foundation for the family to build a better future.
Since 1988, Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage has been building secure, safe and weather-tight homes for some of the most impoverished families in northern Mexico. Nearly every year, our Metropolis has sent at least one group of volunteers to help with these efforts.
The trip will be led by Fr. Joseph DiStefano (St Nicholas, Youngstown), Michael Galis (St Spyridon, Monessen) and Physician Assistant, Ava DiRenzo (Archangel Michael, Campbell). Registration is now open, but spaces are limited. See: https://y2am.pittsburgh.goarch.org/ya
