WASHINGTON – Seven Orthodox Christian Hierarchs participated in events surrounding the 44th annual Right to Life March on Jan. 26. They were: Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos (head of the Assembly’s delegation, Ecumenical Patriarchate); Bishop John (Patriarchate of Antioch); Bishop Maxim (Patriarchate of Serbia) (prayer vigil only); Metropolitan Tikhon (Orthodox Church in America); Archbishop Nathaniel (OCA); Archbishop Melchisedek (OCA) – prayer vigil only; Archbishop Michael (OCA) - march only.
