Parish Retreat “Thriving in our Lives” Planned for December 1-2

St. Demetrios GOC of Rocky River, OH invites the faithful to join them for their retreat, “Thriving in our Lives,” on December 1-2 at the Church. The featured speaker is Dr. Philip Mamalakis, Assistant Professor of Pastoral Care at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.

From the invitation: “God created us to thrive, as human beings, in intimate relationships with Him and others. However, it is hard to live in peace with one another in the home, in the family, and in the community.” The sessions will focus on thriving in parenting, in the home, in relationships, and in marriage.
