Orthodox Christian Network Airs Special Orthodox Holy Week Services

Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Orthodox Christian Network (OCN) will air Orthodox Christian Holy Week services live on the ministry's web site at www.receive.org and at www.stdemetrios.org during Orthodox Holy Week through Orthodox Pascha on Sunday May 1st.

Rev. Dr. Christopher Metropulos, founder and executive director of OCN, and pastor of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, will be conducting these special services each evening of Holy Week starting at 7 PM Eastern time. We will also air the wonderful Paschal service starting at 11 PM eastern on Holy Saturday and taking us through the beautiful Divine Liturgy for Pascha on Sunday morning.

OCN and St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church are also pleased that the head chanter of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese since 1960, Professor Photios Ketsetzis, will be chanting the divine services in the language of the New Testament, Koine Greek, and Fr. Chris will chant the hymns of the services in English. This promises to be a wonderful time of reflection and prayer as we walk with Christ through the last days of His life before His passion and then enter into the universal joy of His glorious resurrection.

Join us for Orthodox Holy Week services live on the internet and participate in the joy of the resurrection with all of us at Orthodox Christian Network.
