OCF's Real Break 2005: Life-Changing Experiences for Students

Orthodox college students will have life-changing experiences as they help hundreds in need through OCF's Real Break program in 2005. The Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF), the official campus ministry effort of SCOBA, has begun registration for its 2005 Real Break trips. Real Break provides alternatives to "traditional" spring breaks for Orthodox college students, and gives them instead a full Christian experience of fellowship and service to others. The program provides opportunities for spiritual growth and one-on-one interaction with a priest accompanying each group.

From February 26 to April 2, 2005, nine Real Break trips are scheduled. Trips are planned to return to all five 2004 locations including the Hogar Rafael Ayau Orphanage in Guatemala, Project Mexico, the Aleutian Villages in Eklutna, Alaska, Raphael House in San Francisco, and St. George the Martyr Monastery in Greece. Two new locations scheduled for 2005 are a Special Education Orphanage in El Salvador and a campus of Trinity Children and Family Services in Los Angeles, California.

The Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC) encourages Orthodox college students to take advantage of these exciting opportunities for fellowship and service to others through OCF's Real Break program. Registration and more information can be found on the OCF website at www.ocf.net or by calling 1-800-919-1OCF.
