"Marriage and Ministry: A Seamless Embrace"
October 3-6, 2022

The retreat will begin on Monday evening, October 3rd at 7pm with a welcome reception and will end by noon on Thursday, October 6, following Liturgy, brunch, and closing remarks.
Monday, Oct. 3
3:00-6:00 pm: Registration
7:30-9:00 pm: Wine and Cheese Welcome Reception (Ice breaker, Fr. Jim & Donna Pappas)
Tuesday, Oct. 4
7:00 am: OPTIONAL: perhaps a group scheduled walk for early birds)
8:30 am: Worship
9:00 am: Breakfast
9:45 am: Introductory Remarks
10:00 am: “Personal and Vicarious Trauma,” Dr. George Stavros
10:30 am: “Heart to Heart”—couple private work based on presentation and exercise/s
11:15 am: Small group discussions—connection of theme to ministry
Noon: Lunch
1:00 pm: Free time
2:00 pm: “Intimacy in Marriage,” Fr. Jerry & Helene Hall
2:30 pm: Heart to Heart
3:15 pm: Small group discussions
4:00 pm: Free Time (option: private meeting w/trained counselor)
