Father Barnabas Powell serves the parish of Saints Nicholas, Raphael and Irene in Cumming, Georgia. Raised in the Pentecostal tradition, he first served as a pastor of a new Evangelical congregation in the Atlanta area and became involved in Evangelical Christian media. Fr. Barnabas hosts the weekly show “Orthodox on Purpose” on Ancient Faith Radio. His talk offers guidance and insight on utilizing the various media outlets available to their full potential in communication our message and bringing people to Orthodoxy.
