St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine Celebrates the 256th Anniversary of Greek Landing Day June 26, 2024

Family and Friends are invited to join the City of St. Augustine Greek Landing Day Proclamation and Colonists’ Memorial at the St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine located at 41 St. George Street, St. Augustine, Florida. This event, taking place on June 26, 2024, marks the 256th anniversary of Greek Landing Day.

Invited guests include Metropolitan Dimitrios of Xanthos, Bishop Anthony of Synada, Consul General Loucas Tsocas, Rt. Rev. Bishop Erik Pohlmeier, Mayors of St. Augustine Nancy Sikes-Kline (2022-present), and Ramelle Petroglou (1980-1984).

Family and Friends are also invited to join for a special dinner at St. John the Divine Event Center at the parish of St. John the Divine, in Jacksonville, FL. The event will include a presentation entitled “Finding Our Voice: What Have We Said? What Will We Say?” offered by Bishop Anthony (Vrame) of Synada. Discretionary Donations are encouraged.
