The Orthodox Christian Studies Center of Fordham University, in collaboration with the Department of Religious Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, and with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, is pleased to present the Speaker Series: Orthodox Scholars Preach. Every week until Pascha, a different Orthodox Scholar will release a new video.

This Series provides a platform for Orthodox scholars to reflect on the spiritual themes of each Sunday's liturgical calendar while drawing on their expertise.

This week's video features Kyra Limberakis, the Chief Operating Officer of the newest Agency of the Assembly of Bishops, Orthodox Volunteer Corps (OVC). Prior to OVC, she worked for seven years at the CrossRoad Summer Institute where she mostly recently served as their director. She received her bachelor's degree from Villanova University and her Master of Theological Studies from the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry where she focused her studies on youth and young adult ministry and the ministry of women in the church. In addition to working in full time ministry, Kyra has published articles on the topic of young women’s faith formation.
