The topic of this issue of PRAXIS, social justice, is very challenging and essential in your work as religious educators. It is a broad area that relates to so many aspects of the life of faith; and it is also a topic where clarity and guidance is needed in the application of our Orthodox Faith to the real circumstances of our contemporary world. It is crucial that you engage with social justice issues in the teaching ministry of the Church, especially when we teach our children and our young people. By word and example Christ revealed that love of God and love of neighbor are the foundation of our faith in Him and our life in the world.
