Cathedral Christmas Concert

The Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity presents, under the High Patronage of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America: "God Is With Us" - An Archdiocesan Virtual Christmas Concert hosted by the Archdiocesan Cathedral Choir, directed by Costas Tsourakis. The annual Christmas Concert at Holy Trinity Cathedral has become a staple in the New York holiday concert scene, continuing a tradition that began with the first Cathedral Christmas Concert under the baton of the late maestro Dr. Dino Anagnost in 1976.

This year's concert will be held virtually, premiering online beginning Sunday, December 20, 8 PM EST- Saturday, December 26, 12 AM EST.

Featuring musicians from the renowned Archdiocesan Cathedral Choir and the Archdiocesan District, the concert will feature popular carols and songs of the holiday season, in addition to a virtual choir premiere of Christ Is Born, Glorify Him and the powerful God Is With Us, composed by John Tavener.

The concert selections will be performed at various churches throughout the Archdiocesan District, and at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Tickets $25-100.

Hosted by the Archdiocesan Cathedral Choir: Evey Simon, Director of Music; Costas Tsourakis, Associate Director of Music; Liza Wu, Organist; Dawn Helene, the Dino Anagnost Artist-in-Residence.
