Camp Good Shepherd Concludes 2022 Sessions

Metropolis of New Jersey Camping Program

With the blessing and support of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, the Metropolis of New Jersey Camping program, Camp Good Shepherd, held three camping sessions from June 20th until July 23rd, welcoming more than 250 campers and volunteers from all over the Metropolis. The first session was held in Maryland, from June 20th-24th, followed by the second session held in Virginia from July 10th-16th and finally the third session held in New Jersey from July 17th – 23rd. His Grace Bishop Apostolos of Medeia visited the Maryland session, opened the camping program of our Holy Metropolis with an Agiasmos service and conveyed the Archbishops paternal love to all the campers and the staff. The theme of the camp was “I will show you my faith by my works” quoting from the Epistle of James 2:18. The Metropolis of New Jersey has already begun preparations for Camp Good Shepherd 2023.
