Ascension Feastday in Rye, NY
With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, the Greek Orthodox Church of our Saviour in Rye, NY held great vespers in celebration of their parish feast day - the Holy Ascension of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday evening, June 1st. Officiating the Great Vespers among the local area clergy of the Archdiocesan District was the Chancellor of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, the Very Reverend Archimandrite Nektarios Papazafiropoulos and the District Chancellor Rev. Protopresbyter Elias Villis.
